FC Vestsjælland Starts Second Half of Season in First Place

31 March 2013

fcvContrary to all the pundits and betting sites, FC Vestsjælland ended the first half of the season (after having played 19 games out of a possible 33) in first position.  With 14 more games to go, the club has a decent chance to gain promotion to the Danish Superliga in 5 short years after having been re-established at the bottom of the 2nd Division.  The club has strengthened its squad with the addition of 3 new players and an old favorite, Rasmus Festersen, who came back after having spent many months in Melbourne, Australia, pursuing his Masters degree in International Business.  We wish Rasmus and the club all the best in their upcoming battles!
