Anglian ties-up with Awadh Mutineers Sports Club and Football Academy

Awadh Mutineers Sports Club Private Limited’s first step is the founding of Awadh Mutineers Football Academy (AMFA) in partnership with Raghuraji Devi Foundation Trust which runs the Takshila Academy, an English Medium School, in the town of Akbarpur, in Amdedkar Nagar District of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Takshila Academy provides an environment in which every student discovers and realizes his full potential. It strives to attract the best talent – students, teachers and facilitators – from all parts of India and the world, without distinction of race, religion, caste, or social status. Further, to address negative mind-sets and prejudices (which is prevalent in numerous communities) they have underprivileged children alongside privileged children. Through such efforts they contribute to develop our rural communities.

Anglian Management Group will provide technical and operational support to Awadh Mutineers Sports Club and the Academy. Anglian has appointed an AFC licensed Director of Football to construct and oversee the curriculum for our young Mutineers and to recruit talent for our Senior team.

Awadh Mutineers aims to be the first club from the state of Uttar Pradesh to play in the I-league, India’s premier football league.
