Anglian player Netan Sansara wins 2013 British Indian Awards

Netan SansaraWe are honored that Netan Sansara, a Person of Indian Origin (“PIO”) from the UK, whom Anglian supported during his stint at FC Vestsjælland was awarded the prestigious Sports Achievement of the Year presented by Asian World at the British Indian Awards.  He received this award in part for his effort in helping the club gain promotion to the Danish Superliga during the 2012-13 season just 5 short years since its rebirth.  Netan beat out other notable sports personalities such as

  • Paranveer Singh Sethi (Watford FC)
  • Ravinder Bopara (England Cricketer)
  • Monty Panesar (England Crickter)
  • Akaash Bhatti (Professional Featherweight Boxer)
